Welcome to Southern Highlands FC – the home of youth football development in the Highlands. As a not-for-profit club, everything we do is about giving back to our players and community. Instead of chasing profit, we reinvest into coaching, facilities, and opportunities that help young people thrive on and off the field. Through the Junior Premier League Australia, we’re proud to deliver quality coaching, spark a lifelong love of the game, and open pathways to the highest levels of youth soccer, all while keeping football accessible, supportive, and family-driven.

JPL Team Trails
The trials for our 2026 JPL squads have now concluded — thank you to all players and families who attended and made the sessions such a success.
At this stage, no new trial dates have been confirmed.
When new opportunities are scheduled, details will be posted right here.
If you’re interested in being considered for future JPL trials or joining our programs, please submit an Expression of Interest via the below button. This will ensure you’re notified as soon as new trial dates are announced.
What’s Next After Trials?
Players selected for our Southern Highlands FC JPL squads will train twice a week with our experienced coaches, building skills, confidence, and teamwork throughout the season.
But that’s not all - we’ll also be running open holiday clinics during school breaks, giving even more local young players the chance to develop their game, have fun, and potentially earn a place at SHFC in the future.
Junior Premier League
The Junior Premier League Australia (JPL) is the country’s new premier competition for young soccer players, providing a high-level environment to develop skills, teamwork, and competitive experience. Competing in the JPL gives players the opportunity to challenge themselves against the best in their age group, while learning from expert coaches and being part of a professional, supportive club culture.
Participation in the JPL is more than just games — it’s a chance for young players to grow, improve, and showcase their talent on a national stage.
